# Welcome! Hi there! My name is Nikola Milekic. I am a software engineer based in Germany. Welcome to my digital garden! This is a collection of private notes that I've decided to make public following the example of [Andy Matuschak](https://notes.andymatuschak.org), [Chad Bennett](https://mister-chad.com/), [Alexis Rondeau](https://publish.obsidian.md/alexisrondeau/), and [The Quantum Well](https://publish.obsidian.md/myquantumwell/) to name just a few. Here are my main topics of interest: - [[Politics]] - [[Economics]] - [[Computer Science]] - [[IT and DevOps]] - [[Mathematics]] Anywhere you see the #MOC tag it indicates that a note is a map of content, which is similar to a table of contents. You can click on the tag to get an alphabetical list of all MOCs. #readwise tag represents notes that were imported from [Readwise](https://readwise.io/), a tool I use to gather highlights from articles and books I read. ## Disclaimer These notes are just that: notes. This means a few things: 1. You will most certainly find the writing style of some (or all) of these rather strange, and that's OK. It's because I didn't write them with anyone else in mind, but you're more than welcome to enjoy them as well. 2. The contents of these notes do not necessarily represent my full of final thoughts (or opinions), and may include stuff I've written years ago I no longer agree with. 3. You may find descriptions of ideas and concepts I do not fully understand yet, as writing about them is part of my learning process, so take everything with a grain of salt. This means that parts of this ragbag will be spotty and inconsistent, and that's OK as well, as this is an educational tool and one of its goals is to help identify knowledge gaps worth filling. I am primarily publishing these to explore the idea of learning in public, which means that I would love to hear any suggestions, opinions or criticism (or praise) you may have. Simply write me an e-mail at [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]).
